We wanted to share with you all a few prayer requests now that our time for leaving for Africa is imminent. Thank you for so faithfully praying for our family.
- Pray that we will have a peace about what to do about malaria. The preventative medications are extremely expensive and the less expensive ones have many side effects. We are praying about taking no preventative medications and only treating if one of us contracts malaria.
- Pray for our housing situation. We still do not have a house to live in and were told today that a 3-4 bedroom house (we are willing to go smaller) could cost us as much as $1750 US dollars a month. We were budgeting for no more that $1000.
- Pray for Dave as he is wrapping up work and home responsibilities this month. He has a lot to accomplish and would appreciate your prayers.
- A huge praise is that we met with Dustin and Kristen tonight. They are going to be living in our home while we are gone. They love the Lord and have a heart for missions. They will be married on May 21.
