Dear Friends and Family,
Today is the day. The rest of us will leave our house about 4:30 pm and head for the Atlanta airport. In many ways I am so ready to leave. To be with Dave, Mary-Frances, and David will be wonderful. I think God ordained the three of them leaving first so that I would be more anxious to go and be reunited with them. Saying good bye is hard, but necessary at this time. I appreciate so many of you and your genuine love for our family. I thought you may be interested in David and Mary-Frances’ messages to me this morning as they await our arrival. Thank you for your prayers for us and especially your prayers for us as we journey to Zambia. The trip will be long and tiring. Pray that we will rest on the plane, not get too lost in London, and that we will be able to endure the 5-6 hour car ride after almost 30 hours of air flight and layovers.
