SIMON AND SAMSON ARE STILL THERE!

Hey guys,
Wow!  There is so many things to share!  Africa is very different and definitely an adjustment, but I think I am beginning to finally get into the swing of things.  Yesterday, we had the opportunity to go to the Sara Rose orphanage.  It is the same orphanage that my dad, Beth, Mr. Simmons, Mrs. Myrick, Mr. Myrick, and I visited two years ago.  It was so great to see the orphanage again.  What was a great surprise to me was that Simon and Samson were still there!  They were two little boys that we had met when we first visited the orphanage two years ago.  We had become very attached to both of them. Simon unfortunately is still HIV positive but he no longer has casts around his feet which is a blessing.  We visited the orphanage yesterday to see if it would be one of the orphanages Mary Frances, Virginia, and my mom would work at.  We all immediately fell in love with it.  Our plan (I think) will be to go on Monday afternoons so our whole family can go and serve, and then Mary-Frances, Virginia, and my mom will go one other morning while the rest of us are working at the Trust School.  I am very excited about this opportunity to serve in the orphanage.  Below are pictures of us with some friends we met at the orphanage.

Also, Berkley and I will begin teaching P.E. next week.  We have already taught some games to some classes (such as blob tag, red rover, red light green light, simon says) but we will begin teaching “full time” next week.
