What we did last Thursday

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to give you an update about what we did last Thursday. That day was Ella and Sadie Graces’ first field trip with CCM Trust School! So Mom, Lydia, Mary-Frances and I tagged a long. Ella and Sadie Grace got to ride in a big blue bus with their class mates and the rest of us followed behind in our car, along with Mr. Tembo the head teacher. It is fun to see Mom drive our safari vehicle in Africa! Reception, 1st, and 2nd grades went. We went to a Foundation for Cross Cultural Educational Missions. It was 2 hours away(we were told that it would take about 30 minutes total) and we went about 25 minutes away from the main road into literally the bush. It was very interesting passing all the villages and seeing all the kids! When we got there we visited the school that the missionaries started for the village children. Some of the children walk up to 10 km each way, in order to attend the school. The walk would take over an hour each way. Part of the ministry is also training the adults in agriculture. So we had a tour of their orchard and mini farm. We saw banana, grapefruit, orange,lemon,and mango trees. Overall it was a very neat experience to see God work in these missionaries life, out-reaching to the children and their parents from the bush. (boon-docks!)

Victoria who has been helping us with the laundry has been sick the past few days so mom, Mary-Frances, Lydia, and I have been scrubbing 3 baskets of laundry each day! The towels are a nightmare to work with cause they are so big and heavy, when wet.

Overall this week has been going good! I miss ya’ll so much and can’t wait to see ya’ll.
